How to Import a CSV
What is a CSV? A CSV is a simple spreadsheet file that lists your transactions — date, amount, merchant, category. Most banks and finance apps can export one.
Where do I get it? Log into your bank or app and look for "Export transactions" or "Download activity." Copilot, Origin, Monarch, and most major banks all support this.
What months can I import? You can import one or more months at once. Soar will only replace transactions for the months found in the file — older data stays untouched.
Income matching tip Soar matches your paycheck deposits by looking at the merchant name in the CSV. If your income rows aren't matching correctly, check that your paycheck source name (set in Personal > Settings) matches how your bank labels the deposit.
